Rocco Forte Hotels, one of the worlds’ leading luxury hotel brands, has announced what could possibly be the travel adventure of a lifetime.
Launched to celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary, this extraordinary escape – aptly named Rocco Forte Hotels’ Extraordinary European Journey Package – has been crafted by chairman Sir Rocco Forte himself, along with his sister Olga Polizzi, director of design. Encompassing some of the group’s leading hotel properties in major cities around the world, this exclusive 12 day tour promises guests an experience they won’t soon forget. Modelled on the ‘Grand Tours’ once popular with artists, poets, writers and moneyed society in the 19th and 20th centuries, this contemporary version will include everything from unique cultural experiences to sumptuous dining and shopping trips to exclusive boutiques.
Among the most anticipated stops will be stays in Rocco Forte Hotels’ Italian properties in Rome and Florence. Guests will enjoy the following experiences on the Italian leg of the journey:
- Rome – Hotel de Russie, ‘Architecture & Art’: Highlights include a two-night stay in the hotel’s magnificent Popolo Suite, a romantic candlelit dinner on their own private terrace, plus private access to one of the city’s top attractions, Castel Sant Angelo
- Florence – Hotel Savoy, ‘Florentine Masters’: Highlights include two-nights in the luxury hotel’s Repubblica Suite, a romantic dinner for two at the famous Irene Bistro, plus a private tour of the Uffizi Gallery’s impressive collection of Renaissance paintings
